Hyundai St Pete car plant plans Creta 1 production from August

ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 2 (PRIME) -- Hyundai plans to start serial production of Creta 1 cars at its Russian plant in St. Petersburg from August 1, Viktor Vasilyev, plant’s director for external relations, told reporters on Thursday.

“We will start production on August 1. The localization will be the same as in Hyundai Solaris production, 46%,” he said.

Hyundai plans to produce 4,000–5,000 Creta cars monthly in 2016, Vasilyev said.
